1. Intellectual property

All content on this site (illustrations, texts, titles, images and videos) is the intellectual property of Cometinédito, headquartered at Avenida da Liberdade, nº 615, 1º, 4710-251, Braga, and its contractors or partners. The partial or full reproduction of the content through any procedure or support, must be previously authorized by Cometinédito. All information, content and documents are protected by Portuguese law, with regard to intellectual property and copyright.

2. Exclusion of Liability

Cometinédito excludes any responsibility for:

  • Damage inherent to the use of the internet network, service disruption, external instruction or attack by computer viruses, or any other case that is not directly linked to the Cometinédito brand.
  • Misuse of content or information generated by third parties.
  • Problems arising from the incorrect use of products purchased at Cometinédito.
3. Legal purchase conditions

These conditions regulate the use of the online store www.cometinedito.pt, of which Cometinédito is legally responsible.

3.1. Prices

The price of the products is expressed in Euros and includes VAT at the legal rate in force, being valid as announced and maintained at the date of order confirmation by the customer, even if it changes after the date of delivery by promotion or campaign that starts.

Cometinédito reserves the right, at any time, to change the prices of products in this online store.

3.2. Purchase

To make your purchase online, you must be connected to the website www.cometinedito.pt, fill in the electronic forms that appear at each stage and register as a user (preferred).

The data recorded by Cometinédito constitute proof of the set of transactions entered into between Cometinédito and the Client.

Once the order and payment are made, Cometinédico files the electronic document that formalizes the purchase and sale contract. To this end, Cometinédito uses an automatic order processing and invoicing system.

All products sold by Cometinédito are exclusively for own consumption, and resale or marketing to third parties is strictly prohibited.

4. Purchase processing
4.1. Minimum Order Amount

The minimum order value is € 10.00 (excluding postage).

4.2. Orders
  • First choose the item (s) and then quantities, then click on buy.
  • Provide your billing details or login if you already have an account created.
  • Select the delivery and payment method.

+ info: If the ordered item is not in stock, you will be warned of its non-existence, as well as the refund of it in stock.

4.3. Order confirmation and payment
  • After confirming the order, you will receive an email with the detailed order record, including the payment details previously selected.
  • As soon as the payment is made, you will receive an email confirming the payment, as well as the related invoice.
  • When sending the order, you will receive an email indicating the guide number so that you can track your order with the carrier. The invoice for your purchase is attached with it.
5. Use of Cookies

Cookies are files that are downloaded to your computer when entering certain web pages. Among other things, they allow you to store or retrieve information related to the user’s navigation and can be used to recognize the user.

6. Personal data

The use of this online sales service lacks some personal information from the customer, which is essential for order processing, issuing invoices and guarantees.

The customer undertakes to provide true information and to act under the terms established herein, and the communication of false information may result in the cancellation of the order.

Cometinédito is committed to safeguarding the maximum privacy and security of the customer’s personal data, not making them available or disclosing them to third parties for the purposes of Marketing.

The Client is also guaranteed that, at any time, he will be able to rectify and access his data, contained in our database, through his client area.

7. Delivery and Shipping

For orders equal to or above € 44.99, deliveries will be free, however if the order does not exceed that amount, shipping costs of € 4.90 + VAT will be charged.

The customer must ensure availability for receiving the order on the day scheduled for delivery.

Shipments to the Autonomous Regions are subject to prior consultation and budgeting for additional transport costs.

In the online ordering process, the Client, when indicating that he has become aware of our Terms and Conditions, declares that he is aware of these facts, thus committing himself to pay all the expenses inherent to the shipment of the ordered items.

8. Deadline

The deadline for delivery of goods after dispatch is:

  • Continental Portugal – home delivery: 24 hours
  • Pick Up Transporter – 24 hours
  • Autonomous Regions – with prior consultation

* The time after dispatch of up to 24 working hours is indicative and not binding.

Cometinédito only dispatches on working days, and neither weekends nor holidays are counted for order delivery estimates.

Any delay in the shipment of items, given the estimated dates presented, does not confer the right to compensation.

On the other hand, the estimated time for shipment is increased by the transport time which depends on the carrier and the destination of your order, and the Customer will always be informed of the day of shipment.

9. Payment methods

Payment can be made by:

  • ATM reference
  • Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa)
  • Paypal
  • Bank Transfer, requiring the customer to indicate the respective order number
10. Exchanges and Returns

Exchanges of purchased items are allowed, as long as they are only exchanges of sizes and / or colors and if the item is in stock.

The exchange can only be made within a maximum period of 14 days after the date of delivery and through prior contact with Cometinédito (via e-mail comercial@cometinedito.com).

The exchange will only be made if the article is intact, in the original packaging and without any sign of use. We ask our customers to check the goods after delivery, in order to verify that it arrived in good condition.

Any anomalies in the packaging must be recorded on the carrier’s guide. If there is any complaint, you should take a picture of the packaging / article and send it by email to info@cometinedito.com within the first 12 hours after delivery indicating the non-conformity and the order number.

After receiving this email, we will contact you to arrange the collection of the order, if necessary, and in case we prove any lack of conformity, the item will be replaced and sent back to the Customer’s address without any additional cost.

The Customer may exercise the right to terminate the contract, which allows him to return the product and recover the amounts paid, during the 14 days following the delivery of the product, regardless of the related reason. Thus, within that period, it must be sent by registered letter, in new condition, in its original packaging, with accessories, manuals and a duplicate invoice.

After confirming the good condition of the product, as well as all the elements that followed it and those mentioned above, Cometinédito will reimburse the amounts paid by bank transfer, within a maximum period of 30 days. All charges related to the return will be borne by the Customer.

11. Order Cancellation

The customer will be able to cancel his order through this website, at any time until its dispatch, with the right to refund the amounts paid. To check the status of the order, see the “Order Status” website.

Cometinédito reserves the right to cancel purchases in exceptional cases, such as:

  • No payment
  • Data that does not match or no data. In this case, the user will be alerted so that he can make or change his data. In the absence of a response, the order will be canceled.
12. Warranty

All products are covered by the legal guarantee. As such, together with the order, you will receive the warranty certificate.

The warranty does not apply to situations resulting from external causes, such as accidents, falls or misuse of the product.

13. Liability Disputes

Cometinédito is not responsible for delays or non-compliance with the contract for reasons of force majeure, disturbance, total or partial strike, changes in postal services and means of transport or communication, flood, fire or war.

Cometinédito is not responsible for any indirect damage, loss of exploitation, loss of benefit, loss of opportunity, damage or fees that may arise from the purchase of any product presented on the website.

Even though our products have performances compatible with professional uses, Cometinédito is not aimed at a professional audience.

Cométinedito will not then be able to see its responsibility compromised by any loss that is the result of a professional activity. Portuguese Law is applicable to all issues that are not regulated by these conditions, and any conflict or divergence in interpretation of the same will be submitted to the competent Portuguese Court.

In the event of an online consumer dispute, the consumer can use an online dispute resolution system (RLL – ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr), the ODR Platform (“online dispute resolution”), with competence to resolve disputes regarding contractual obligations resulting from sales or online service contracts.
